Boyfriend refuses to show his girlfriend of 3 months his apartment, despite only living 15 minutes away from her: 'Either he lives with his parents, lives with his ex girlfriend, or is a hoarder.'

Which is worse?

When you're in the early stages of dating someone, one of the most arduous logistical questions is, "Where are we sleeping tonight?" Before you see your boyfriend or girlfriend, you need to figure that out, especially if you have work or something else you need to get up early for. 

Some couples choose one of their places to sleep over because it's more convenient. If one partner lives in a one-bedroom apartment, and the other partner has four roommates, you're obviously going to sleep at the one-bedroom place more often than the place that's basically a college dorm suite. Also, if someone has roommates who forbid them from having overnight guests, it will force them to spend the night at their partner's house without reciprocating the favor. Unless you have very good reasons for making your partner sleep over at your place all the time or vice versa, you should let the other person host every once in a while. 

It's one thing not to be the one who hosts your partner most of the time. It's a completely different thing to never even let your partner look at your apartment after months of being together. The boyfriend in this story has the lousiest excuse in the world for why his girlfriend can't even come over to his house, let alone sleep there. He claims that his house is too messy for company, which is just ridiculous. Either he's a hoarder or a liar, and I can't tell which is a worse outcome for the woman he is shacking up with.
